Voiture de tourisme Hiver Tourisme Premium Tyres

J’ai acheté ces pneu au début octobre 2025.<br />
Depuis les températures dans la région des Laurentides (St-Jerome) ont passé at toute les gammes de beau temps aller intempéries les plus extrêmes.<br />
Sur chaussée sec et où mouiller rien à redire.<br />
Parcontre lors de tempête de neige ou verglas je n’ai pas constaté les performances élogieuses tant annoncées.<br />
Ne vaut pas le prix payé ($1600.00can)<br />
C’est assurément les dernières set de pneus Hakkapelica10 que je me procure.

Comparé à des marques comme Continental, Bridgestone, Hankook, Michelin, je suis très impressionné par la progression de Kumho. Le wp52+ testé en france dans les vosges et en ville est impressionnat. Pneu au rapport qualité prix incomparable.

Point positif: excellent neige et glace. J'ai effectué un road trip en mazda mx5 jusqu'au cap nord en Norvège en hiver, -25c° route glacée et tout s'est très bien passé. Usure. Prix.<br />
Point négatif: route sèche et mouillé très moyen mais ils ne sont pas fait pour ça<br />
Rachat? Peut être, je prévois de refaire un road trip en Scandinavie en hiver, ils seront sur ma short liste

Point positif: excellent sur route mouillé et froide, jamais bloqué dans la neige même dans les cols, usure excellente, feeling très bon, j'adore ce pneu.<br />
Point negatif: comme tous les pneus hivers, sur le sec et par température chaude c'est moyen mais en même temps ils ne sont pas fait pour ça.<br />
Rachat? Oui mais les prix ont bien augmenté

25 000km déjà effectué avec ces wp52, ils sont globalement bon mais une légère sensation de flou au niveau de l'accroche sur le mouillé, sur le sec on sent les pneus qui travaille dans les virages, toujours ce feeling un peu flou. Sur la neige la traction est bonne, ça fait le boulot. <br />
Les pneus font consommer un peu + qu'avec des pneus été, et ils ont bien entendus un peu plus bruyant.<br />
Mais le rapport prestation prix est très bon par rapport à la concurrence, pour du pas cher ça fait le boulot sans être exceptionnel.

These tyres are confortable, quiet and quite good in wet weather...when they are brand new. That's it for the pros.<br />

Now the cons: like the previous LM001 I bought a long time ago, do no expect any traction on snow hill climb. The 4WD is always trying to give a push to the tyres (compared to the best I had regarding this aspect which were Dunlop WS5 with whom I nearly never used the 4WD system on the same snowy roads).<br />
Now the worst. I drive 50000km per year. Brand new tyres mounted by the end of October. Those tyres were nearly totally unable to handle snow by the end of January. 5mm remaining, destroyed blocks and hard rubber not handling even on wet roundabouts.<br />
And I'm driving on relatively good mountain roads.<br />
The only comparable as bad tyres I had, regarding fast wear, were Nokian WRD4 (with my previous Volvo car, not this one).<br />

Just to compare, the Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 lasted nearly 38000 km before reaching 4mm of rubber, the snow limit width.<br />

I'll never ever will by Bridgestone again.<br />

The price per kilometre is far more expensive with these Bridgestone compared to Michelin Pilot Alpin or Goodyear UGPgen1 or +(>35000km to 4mm) the best I had regarding wear or even Nokian WRSUV 4 (25000km to reach 4mm of rubber) I had previously on this car.<br />
The funniest tyres to drive I had with this car where Dunlop Winter sport 5. The best snow traction I had and very easy to drive in snow (slippier than Michelin or GY but very easy and fun to control on snow, like skiing with the car, but they need a little training every winter)<br />

I bought a pair of Conti TS870p to test it during the next winter.

Never had Nokian Tire before because I couldn't afford it, but since my dealer gave me a deal when I bought my new Tucson 2021, I discover the fun to drive in winter again, with all wheel drive in the snow i'm having a blast, especially when I disengaged the anti skid... drift time and the tires handle like a charm. Happy I did spend a little more for really good tires, I leave in Québec city and my street is always the last one to be clean after a storm so you can imagine the fun I have to go home after work... great tires =)
