Sec

Le Continental WinterContact TS 870 P et le Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 se distinguent par leur maniabilité sûre et leur direction précise sur pistes sèches, remportant la plupart des points lors des tests. En revanche, la conduite sur sol sec du Winterhawk 4 de Firestone est considérée comme problématique.

Mouillé

Lors des tests sur sol mouillé, la BMW Série 3 exige de ses pneus des performances dynamiques élevées. Il est surprenant de constater que le Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 non seulement répond à ces exigences, mais surpasse également les pneus été standards, notamment en freinage et sur piste mouillée.

Cependant, le Toyo Observe 944 a du mal dans des conditions humides en raison de son contrôle latéral incohérent. De même, le Speed-Grip 5 de Semperit et un pneu économique sans marque testés pour référence affichent des essieux arrière instables, ce qui en fait des choix loin d'être idéaux. Lors de l'évaluation des risques d'aquaplaning, le Winter i*cept evo³ équilibré de Hankook offre les marges de sécurité les plus fiables.

Neige

Le fabricant de pneus français Michelin, avec ses marques secondaires BF Goodrich et Kleber, est en tête des performances sur neige. Plus précisément, le Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 présente des résultats de premier ordre aux tests de traction, au freinage sur neige et aux évaluations de maniabilité. Cependant, il y a un inconvénient mineur : en ce qui concerne le contrôle latéral (côté à côté), certaines des options rentables de Michelin le surpassent légèrement.

La plupart des concurrents de l’étude affichent également des performances hivernales louables. Une exception à noter est le Bridgestone Blizzak LM005. Lors des évaluations de slalom, il a démontré des lacunes. Le pneu présentait une réponse retardée dans les commandes de direction et une propension à avancer pendant les virages, indiquant un contrôle latéral sous-optimal. De même, le Falken Eurowinter HS02 Pro, ainsi qu'un pneu économique testé à des fins de comparaison, ont affiché une stabilité en courbe insuffisante dans des conditions enneigées.

Confort

Le Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 est une nouvelle fois en tête avec le bruit extérieur le plus faible.

Valeur

Dans l’analyse des coûts, la durée de vie kilométrique prévue influence grandement la note du chapitre. L'UltraGrip Performance 3 de Goodyear atteint les meilleures performances avec 45 500 kilomètres, calculés pour l'essieu moteur. En termes de rapport qualité-prix, le Polaris 5 de Barum se classe premier en raison de sa bonne durée de vie et de son faible coût. De plus, il excelle en termes de résistance au roulement.
